John McCain was born on August 29, 1936 at the Coco Solo military base, in the Panama Canal Zone. He was a Republican politician, who was a senator for the state of Arizona from 1987 until his death. He was the Republican candidate for the 2008 presidential election, in which he lost to Barack Obama.

In turn, Barack Obama was born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was the 44th President of the United States from 2009 to 2017.
