Answer:

The correct answer for the exercise: Jack was found sleeping on a park bench. when awakened by a police officer, he could not remember who he was or where he lived. later, investigators discovered that jack's wife had left him the night before after a violent fight in which he tried to attack her. jack insists that he has no memories of the dispute with his wife or even of having been married. jack is probably suffering from: Is: dissociative amnesia.

Explanation:

To understand this answer we have to remember some concepts. First of all, amnesia is the disorder in which a person forgets a certain amount of information, but this information is about his past life. Now, dissociative disorders are a very interesting type of disorder in which a person creates a personality fraction or separation. Creating a personality that will make him or her ability to survive the distress or frustration of a very high distress situation. In other words, they create a personality in which they can deal with that situation because their regular personality can't confront that specific situation. Then, this disassociation makes their regular personality to not be the active personality in that situation, making it incapable of remembering the events. In this case that is what Jack did.

According to McCrae et. al., the traits and structure of personality is expressed in steady arrangement of cognition, feelings and action. Anthropological tradition and cross-cultural psychology plays a great role in establishing personality characteristics and adaptations of an individual. In this sense, personality cannot be disengaged with culture.

#1) Where were the english forced to house a large number of prisoners in the late eighteenth century?
Answer: Sailing Vessels. During the eighteenth century, British justice used a wide variety of measures to punish crime, including fines, the pillory and whipping. Transportation to America was often offered, until 1776, as an alternative to the death penalty, which could be imposed for many offenses including pilfering. When they ran out of prisons in 1776 they used old sailing vessels which came to be called hulks as places of temporary confinement.
