Answer:

His mother was a Christian and his father was a pagan.

Explanation:

Saint Augustine is one of the most important theologians (writing in the 5th century CE) of the Christian faith and one of the most influential thinkers of the Western tradition. It is known that his mother, Monica was a devout Christian who always prayed for Augustine´s conversion, which eventually did take place. His father, Patricius, was a pagan who in his deathbed also converted to Christianity. These two factors, along with Augustine´s genius and perspicacity, certainly made him very fit to elaborate the historical shift from paganism to Christianity.

How do clauses help improve your writing?
DerKrebs [107]
Clauses highly improve sentence structures. They can make the sentence sound a lot better to the tongue, and it even make the sentence easier to understand. I hope this helps! :)

(Lord of The Flies) "Creepers" refers to snakes.

True
False
Ne4ueva [31]
The creepers in lord of the flies are actually vines that grow all over the island, which symbolize evil.

Such as when the pig is found entangled in creepers, it symbolizes how the boys will also become entangled in evil as they lose civility.
