How were the motivations behind the Korean War and the Vietnam War similar?

Answer: The Korean War was a conflict that took place between 1950 and 1953 between North Korea and South Korea and began when North Korean troops crossed the border separating Korea, beginning the invasion of South Korea. This war was one of the first manifestations of the bipolarization that characterized the world during the Cold War.

The Vietnam War was an armed conflict that began in the year 1959 and ended in 1975. Battles took place in the territories of North Vietnam, South Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. This war can be framed in the historical context of the Cold War.

The two wars were with a country that is divided, in the case of Korea, is still divided. Both during the Cold War.
