What can be concluded about Mrs. Hale from this excerpt from Trifles by Susan Glaspell?

COUNTY ATTORNEY: (with the gallantry of a young politician) And yet, for all their worries, what would we do without the ladies? (The women do not unbend. He goes to the sink, takes a dipperful of water from the pail and pouring it into a basin, washes his hands. Starts to wipe them on the roller-towel, turns it for a cleaner place) Dirty towels! (kicks his foot against the pans under the sink) Not much of a housekeeper, would you say, ladies?

MRS HALE: (stiffly) There's a great deal of work to be done on a farm.

COUNTY ATTORNEY: To be sure. And yet (with a little bow to her) I know there are some Dickson county farmhouses which do not have such roller towels. (He gives it a pull to expose its length again.)

MRS HALE: Those towels get dirty awful quick. Men's hands aren't always as clean as they might be.

A. Mrs. Hale believes that Mrs. Wright

B. Mrs. Hale is not a good housekeeper

C. Mrs. Hale wants to defend Mrs. Wright in her absence.

D. Mrs. Hale feels guilty for not visiting her neighbor earlier.

E. Mrs. Hale does not like the county attorney's attitude.

the answer are C and E

(1) Susan was sitting in math class. (2) She began laughing like crazy. (3) The teacher thought Scott was making Susan laugh. (4
Pie

Answer: The answer would be A.

Explanation: The teacher can't make Susan stop watching TV, the teacher could talk to Susan parents but that doesn't really support the paragraph, and Scott was not the on laughing, he was getting into trouble. So the only one that makes the most sense is A.  (I hope this helps and makes sense)

To a friend about the school trip.
djyliett [7]

Answer:

Dear Susan,

I hope you are doing well. I had a nice experience at the zoo some days ago, and I want to tell you all about it.

Last Monday, my classmates and I went to the zoo. It was an amazing trip since we learned about different animals and their habitats. We saw monkeys, giraffes, elephants, and even snakes. It was a great trip because I have never seen any of those animals in person.

We had to take notes of all the different animals that we saw and what the guide said. At the end of the trip, our teacher asked us questions to check what we learned and asked us to choose one animal and write in detail about it.

Have you been on any school trips lately? If so, I would love to hear how it was. Hope to see you soon.

All the best,

Kelly

Explanation:

In this letter, we have to tell our friend about a school trip. In the first paragraph, we ask our friend how she is doing and introduce the topic of the letter. In the following section, we describe our experience in the zoo. We tell the reader what we saw, why we went, and what we found fascinating. In the next paragraph, we describe what the teacher asked us to do after the visit to check our knowledge. Finally, we ask the person about her/his experience and say our goodbyes.
