What happened to American Indiana’s after 1492
kakasveta [241]

Answer:

Their population decreased by nearly twenty percent.

Many American Indians suffered a terrible fate upon European exploration of the Americas. Thanks to the initial voyage of Christopher Columbus, many European countries desired goods and resources found in North American continent. This lead to the establishment of permanent settlements by countries such as Spain, France, Great Britain, etc.

When settling, these European explorers interacted with American Indians. These interactions allowed for the exchange of new ideas and goods. However, it also exposed many American Indians to diseases that their immune system was not used to. This resulted in the death of millions of American Indians.

How did colonial divisions in Africa lead to conflict between Native American tribes
tresset_1 [31]

African's huge variety of languages and cultures discouraged unity among them. Wars fought between ethnic groups over land, water, and trade rights also prevented a unified stand. Europeans soon learned to play rival groups against each other. The competition between European nations was so fierce that they feared war among themselves. To prevent conflict, 14 European nations met at the Berlin Conference in 1884-85 to lay down rules for the division of Africa. The Europeans nations divided the continent with little regard about how Africans ethnic or linguistic groups were distributed. No African ruler was invited to attend their meetings, yet the Conference sealed Africa's fate.
