3) Data : 15,16,17,23,11,19,20,15,18,22,15,19

Mean = \frac{sum of the data}{number of data}\\\\ Mean = \frac{15 + 16 + 17+ 23 + 11 + 19 + 20 + 15 + 18 + 22 + 15 + 19 }{12}\\\\ Mean = \frac{210}{12}\\\\ Mean = 17.5

4) Mode of the data : The number which is repeated maximum number of time

Data : 15,16,17,23,11,19,20,15,18,22,15,19

From the above data we can see that 15 is repeated maximum number of times

So mode = 15

5) Data : 15,16,17,23,11,19,20,15,18,22,15

For median arrange all the data either from least to greatest or greatest to least

Data from least to greatest : 11, 15,15,15, 16,17,18,19,20,22,23

Number of data = 11

So middle number will be the median

Median = 17

6) Data : 15,16,17,23,11,19,20,15,18,22,15

The first quartile is defined as the middle number between the smallest number and the median of the data set.

Data arranged in lowest to greatest : 11, 15,15,15, 16,17,18,19,20,22,23

For 1st quartile, consider the data as 11, 15,15,15, 16

Middle number = first quartile = 15

Polygon F has an area of 36 square units. Aimar drew a scaled version of Polygon F and labeled it Polygon G. Polygon G has an ar
mariarad [96]

Area is a squared number.  We know that from the label we use when we solve problems involving area.  Perimeter is a single unit label.  This single unit label can also be used to find scale factor, since single unit labels are one-to-one.  If the area of polygon F is 36, that means that the single unit measure was a number that was squared to get to the area.  Same goes for polygon G.  That means that in order to find the single unit measure of each of those we have to take the square root of the area.  The square root of 36 is 6, and the square root of 4 is 2.  6:2 is the scale factor, but that can be reduced to 3:1, larger to smaller.
