I would say emotional appeal though moral appeal might be right as well. If you think of it as he thinks it's morally wrong that they are to be enemies or if he's appealing to their conscience then yes it would be moral. However, if he is trying to convey emotion in the fact that he doesn't want to fight with anyone then it would be emotional. Best bet would probably be moral though.
