I´d say my choices are those of someone who used to be scared, but no more. I can choose my destiny, make my own luck, and perseverance will take me wherever I want to go.

Explanation:

It´s sometimes tempting to blame luck, destiny, or any other factor outside our own choices, of what our lives come to be. However, our lives are built on the choices we made. For too long I stayed in a relationship that was wrong for me. I can blame it on the other person, But I made that choice, and I´m grateful at some point I decided to leave.

Too long was I stuck in a job I hated, thinking there was no other choice. It was only when I decided to jump out of my comfort zone, take a long trip to carefully think about my next steps, and ended up getting the job of my dreams.
