English

Option 4 is the one which uses a parallel structure:
4) I also plan to organize more school dances and give my fellow students more opportunities to interact socially.

A parallel structure is a sentence that uses the same tense or form of a verb throughout. So, number 4 is the only sentence that does that - the other sentences mix a lot of forms and tenses, which shouldn't be done.

How does kinetic energy affect the stopping distance of a small vehicle compared to a large vehicle?
guajiro [1.7K]
It takes less energy to stop a small vehicle compared to a large vehicle because there is less energy or force behind the vehicle making it go. thus the stopping distance is shorter for a smaller vehicle than a larger vehicle, assuming they were originally moving the same speed.

Which choice is an example of the comparative form
Nutka1998 [239]
A comparative form compares two places, people, or things. I would go with option "B". It is the only word that could be used in a sentence to compare two things. Vanilla ice cream is worse than chocolate ice cream. That compares two things.

I hope this helped you!

The egyptian tomb which sentence expresses a primary theme developed in the passage
lakkis [162]

The question is incomplete and the full version can be found online.

Answer: C. A relationship needs more than a routine

Explanation:

In "The Egyptian Tomb," Beatriz Espejo tells the story of someone who takes his or her mother for lunch every week. Despite having a strict routine to get together regularly, they don´t seem to get along.

Although taking care of the elderly is portrayed as a difficult task, is because of the damaged relationship and not necessarily because of the mother´s age. It´s never said that mothers and daughters can´t get along, and there´re no references to financial hardships. The theme is more likely to be that their routine is not enough, as they still need to work on their relationship.
