How did the weaknesses of the treaty of Versailles push England and France into building towards WW2?
expeople1 [14]

Answer:

When World War II erupted 20 years later, the treaty was maligned and blamed for. Since Germany had invaded France twice in the previous four decades in wars fought on. And The Treaty had the aim of prolonged peace, and the isolation through disarmament was one of the reasons it did not fulfil its aim. The failure of the League of Nations was a huge weakness; it failed because America, Russia and Germany were omitted.

What conditions existed that led to the independence movements of Soviet satellites countries and republics
leonid [27]

Answer:

There are three conditions that we can identify:

  • Glasnot: this word means "transparency" in Russian and was one of the two landmark policies of Mikhail Gorbachev. It led to a more open and transparent soviet government: the government now allowed criticism from citizens.
  • Perestroika: this world means "restructuring" in Russian, and was the other landmark policy of Gorbachev. It led to changes in the Russian economy, but these changes in the end could not fully save the lagging socialist, planned economy.
  • Movements within the Soviet Union: both glasnot and perestroika propelled internal movements within the Soviet Union, and Russia, which was the central Soviet country, and this inspired similar movements in other Soviet republics.

Briefly describe the burton Triumvirate, including positions held by the three men.
Leona [35]

Answer:

Explanation:

The term Bourbon Triumvirate refers to Georgia's three most powerful and prominent politicians of the post-Reconstruction era: Joseph E. Brown, Alfred H. Colquitt, and John B. Gordon. This trio practically held a lock on the state's U.S. Senate seats and governor's office from 1872 to 1890: Brown as senator from 1880 until 1890; Colquitt as governor from 1876 through 1882, and as senator from 1883 until 1894; and Gordon as senator from 1872 until 1880, governor from 1886 until 1890, and senator again from 1891 until 1897. The political careers of all three men benefited from their service during the Civil War (1861-65); Brown had served as the governor of Confederate Georgia, and Colquitt and Gordon had both risen to the rank of major general in the Confederate army by the war's end.
