In the late 1800s there was a great difference from the dominated upper-class and partisan political newspapers journalism that had existed up to that moment. A more popular type of newspaper stated to be distributed. They had more pictures, shorter texts, emphasis on crime, scandal and sports. They were more massive as they can be read easier and faster in any place.
Theodore Roosevelt won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1906 for his work on the Treaty of Portsmouth. This treaty ended up ending the war between the Japanese and the Russians.
