Answer:

The colony that was established for persecuted Roman Catholics was Maryland.

Explanation:

Lord Baltimore, who had received a management concession for the territory of the province in 1632, named the area presumably after Queen Henrietta Maria, the wife of Charles I.

On March 25, 1634, the first settlers arrived in the area. Maryland was the only Catholic among the strictly Protestant British colonies in North America. The first Catholic diocese and the first catholic cathedral of the United States were established there. The Maryland Toleration Act was one of the first laws expressly tolerating other Christian denominations, and is therefore considered a forerunner of the First Amendment.

2 things that people did for education in the southern part of America in the 1700's

In the southern colonies, children generally began their education at home. Because the distances between farms and plantations made community schools impossible, plantation owners often hired tutors to teach boys math, classical languages, science, geography, history, etiquette, and plantation management.

I need help with #5. The passage is about women fighting for their rights especially their right to vote.
sergiy2304 [10]
It was difficult for women to get rights especially for voting because men were often viewed as superior against women and smarter. Often times in the past women weren't even allowed to go to school after a while. It is still that way in some countries. This probably didn't help much but if I could get the passage I could be more helpful.
