The key factor in Thomas Edison success is discovering the carbon cardboard as a suitable element for his filament. This was the last and the most important thing in Edison design of the light bulb. Edison decided to use carbon filament after much testing because he discovered that the carbon filament will glow without burning.
Because of Edison invention, electricity light becomes a possibility and it is used for many things both in the homes and in the industries.

Why was the printing press essential to the succes of protestant reformation
agasfer [191]
The printing press was essential to the success of the protestant reformation as it helped with the spreading of opinions and ideas. Because at that time the Church was at power, people often listened and were influenced by most of the pope's ideas which led to corruption. However, with the printing press, people were able to write books and gain more knowledge from elsewhere rather than depending on the church for information. It allowed for people to eventually question their faith in the church which helped them break free from corruption.
