The answer is; burning unleaded gasoline

Unleaded gasoline does not reduce carbon emissions. The lead was added to fuel ideally for vehicles to reduce the knocking of engines. Lead in its chemical structure also increased fuel octane levels. When lead was discovered to be a neurotoxin, it was banned as an additive in fuel in most countries.

I would say the answer is either A or B, the Law of Consevation of Energy states that,"<span>the total energy of an isolated system remains constant</span>" so this energy isn't destroyed, it's simply useless. When we use energy to run, our energy is released as heat, so I would assume that it is the same for other creatures. Let me know if this helps.

Explain why an energy pyramid in any ecosystem typically is limited to four or five levels only
Delvig [45]
Because there is only a finite amount of energy. Energy is lost between each trophic stage. The top predator would gain the least amount of energy, shared between the least amount of organisms within the predator species. Typically there just aren't any other animals that can kill and eat the top predator, but there also wouldn't be enough of the top predator to eat so any species above them would quickly die out.
