Small mice fit nicely into coat pockets. Which word or group of words is the complete predicate?
77julia77 [94]

Small mice fit nicely into coat pockets.

The complete predicate in this sentence is "fit nicely into coat pockets."

This is because a sentence is made up of two halves: the complete subject and the complete predicate. The latter of these two makes up the part of the sentence that describes the subject, or what the subject is doing.

natali 33 [55]
If I dislike the fact people are in the picture I would wait until it isn’t so busy and take pictures without them. If I’m impatient and unwilling to wait until it isn’t busy, I would use a retouching program or photoshop to remove things I dislike. In this case, it could be cars, people, etc. If I’m unavailable to either choices, I will move my photography spot to any other location where it isn’t so busy for the perfect picture.

What is the author's persona?
Vinil7 [7]

Answer:

a fictional narrator with a distinct personality from the historical author

Explanation:

A fictional narrator with a distinct personality from the historical author – this is the right answer. The author's persona is the literary device, and it is the voice that seemingly is thinking or writing the work. Yet, this is the separate persona from the author’s own voice. Persona is just what the author created to be most suitable for the particular work.

The voice created by authors when seeming to speak for themselves – this is not the right answer. The term for this is authorial voice.

The attitude the author or narrator has toward the subject matter – this is an incorrect answer. This is the definition of the tone.

The historical author's personality, background, and viewpoints – this is not the right answer. This is the author himself.

Use the information from the preceding sentence to write a coherent paragraph about replacing the sports scoreboard strive to us
Paul [167]

Hello. You forgot to inform the "preceding sentence" to which the question refers.

The previous sentence is "The substitution of the school stadium scoreboard".

Answer:

The replacement of the school stadium's scoreboard has become a subject frequently debated in the fields due to its urgency. The outdation of the scoreboard means that it does not provide accurate results, which ends up hindering the realization of important games for the student community. It should be noted that the replacement of the scoreboard is an urgent activity and not to carry out repairs, because due to its advanced age, finding compatible parts and specialized labor would be very difficult and expensive to be achieved. However, the replacement of the scoreboard will not be cheap, which reinforces the need to find sponsoring brands that can perform the substitution in exchange for the exclusive sale of their products within the school.

Explanation:

The paragraph above was written using the correct grammar and words that convey coherent and cohesive information. In addition, the requirements shown in the question above were met, the use of three devices. These devices were: repetition of key words, the use of reference pronouns and transitional expressions.
