Purple could mean many things but if it's talking about climate and such then cooler colors like purple are usually meaning colder climate

The act of attempting to annihilate an ethnic minority by an ethnic majority is known as a genocide. In Rwanda, the genocide began in the capital city of Kigali and spread throughout the rest of the country with lightening speed. It was a brutal and violent period in Rwandan history.
