During the 22nd January, 1905, Russian people held a peaceful protest in St. Petersburg to claim for their rights since they were treated as slaves due to the Tsar's social and political system. This tragedy paved the way to many strikes, riots and political agitation by the people who continued showing their discontent. Those who engaged in protests against the Tsa's system of government were considered Communists.
