Entre los aspectos positivos de las revoluciones campesinas y obreras es que nacen de la base social más pobre y que no encuentra otra forma de accionar una vez que sus demandas no han sido escuchadas por la vía legal. Estas bases populares no han encontrado otra forma de exigir sus derechos  y deciden levantarse en armas. Este aspecto destaca porque surge de las bases sociales más bajas y por los motivos más válidos: igualdad, justicia, oportunidades, crecimiento económico, acceso a la educación y a la salud, entre otros.

Ente los aspectos negativos están las pérdidas de vidas humanas, el enfrentarse entre propios miembros de un país, la destrucción material y las cicatrices sociales que deja una lucha de clases entre quienes menos tienes y exigen equidad, en contra de las minorías que viven a expensas de la explotación de la gente más pobre.
