Rosa Parks was what I chose as a historical figure. Rosa Parks invigorated the struggle for racial equality when she refused to give up her bus seat to a white man in Montgomery, Alabama. Parks was arrest on December 1, 1955. She was a strong, Independent woman. She was also an African American civil rights activist. Hope this helps. :)
