How does the constitution guard against the concentration of power?
amm1812

Hello!

The constitution guards against the concentration of power by having established the separation of powers.

Separation of Powers, also known as "checks and balances" is the way in which the U.S. government is split into different branches:

- The executive branch (the president)

- The legislative branch (the house of representatives and the senate)

- The judicial branch (the courts and judges)

By having a separation of powers, no single branch can take over or build up too much power. Each branch has a different role in government, so no branch has power over everything; they all need to work together in order to make an efficient government.

I hope this helps you! Have a lovely day!

Did billy milligan really have multiple personalities
makvit [3.9K]

Answer:

Milligan was diagnosed with 24 personalities so yes he did have multiple personalites. He actually had a multiple personality disorder (now called dissociative identity disorder).

Because of the fact that 2 of his 24 personalities did crimes and such he also was not guilty when they sent him to court because when you have the disorder he did you are not in control of any of your other personalities.

Therefore 22 out of his 24 personalities were not guilty.

The explanation is above.
