False In both the cases the element would definitely change. As alpha particle comes out then the new element would have two less in atomic number where as in beta particle decay the new element will have one higher in atomic number.

Answer:

The answer is false.

Explanation:

In both alpha and beta decay, the number of protons changes from the parent element to the daughter element. So they can't be the same element.- also just took the quiz on APEX :)

lesya692 [45]

Your textbook uses a study method incorporating five steps: survey, question, read, retrieve, and review.

Statements of research objectives help subjects assess the importance of research relative to their individual values. The statement should include not only the immediate purpose of the study but also the larger purpose that may arise.

Studying is important not only for the development of education but also for the development of personal skills. Good study skills improve self-confidence, competence, and self-esteem. It also helps relieve stress and anxiety about deadlines and exams. The words learning and studying are closely related. Learning means "acquisition of knowledge and skills through the study", and study means "reading books, memorizing facts, going to school, etc."

Natasha_Volkova [10]

Answer:

1. civilization = a highly developed society

2. society = a group of people with common practices, activities, and interests

3. culture = all the knowledge and values shared by a society

4. historical method = collecting, classifying, analyzing, and interpreting data

5. anthropology = the study of humans

6. primary source = a document that was produced during the same time period as the historical event

7. secondary source = a document produced some time after the historical event

Explanation:

Civilization is an advanced and complex stage of human society. High levels of government, culture, industry, and science have been reached in a civilization.

A society consists of a group of people, often inhabiting the same geographical area, who share some sort of bond (language, religion, culture, etc.) and who have persistent relations.

Culture refers to the knowledge as well as the customary beliefs and traits of particular social groups.

Historical method consists of guidelines and techniques used by historians to collect and study data in order to establish facts and principles. Chronology is very important for this method.

Anthropology is the study of human societies, our cultures, our development. It is basically the science that studies humans as opposed to other animals.

A primary source is any source containing first-hand information. A secondary source, on the other hand, is created later in time by someone who did not experience that fact first-hand.
