I assume you have made a typo and meant "treacherous". Something that might be treacherous might be a traitor [referring to a person] or treacherous weather [harsh weather].

Dovator [93]

Answer:

Explanation:

My opinion is that the educational system is always socializing on climate change and how it will affect the youths after us. Now the youths have to live with what the people did before them and how they ruined the earth.

I agree with this cartoon because if we keep on destroying the earth and using fossil fuels we will ruin our future generations.

PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!!!
pickupchik [31]

I believe from what I see that every sentence has been turned from present tense to past tense. One example could be Number 5- Instead of, 'Peter is going to take the package later.", it could be in past tense, as in Peter already took the package- "Later, Peter took the package."

Hope this helped. Let me know if you have any more questions!

In a paragraph of four to six sentences, identify three words or phrases with positive connotations and explain how these words
Kay [80]

Answer:

The Old Socialist was getting a bit nosy

He was a mature man, very social and begifted with a natural curiosity for everything alive.

Explanation:

A connotation is a commonly understood word that in addition to the its literal meaning, carries an underlying emotional or cultural association. If we take for example the words old and mature we associate the latter in a positive way, because we imagine someone experienced in life instead of just being old. Social has a positive connotation too, but socialist doesn´t; the former is more human and the latter is political. Another example is nosy and curious: The latter can mean eager to know and learn; the former is somebody who is too curious - specially concerning personal details.

Why don't we pronounce the second c in connecticut?
masha68 [24]

The original name is from the Mohegan word "quinnitukqut" which means "at the long tidal river."

The name was transliterated sort of poorly (see: Nippon vs. Japan for another example... among thousands) by the English speaking folks of the time and it became Connecticut when spelled but the pronunciation was a little harder to fudge, it seems.
