The states with large populations might get more representation in the House based on their population.

<u>Explanation: </u>

When the Constitution was being framed, the smaller states argued for the passage of equal representation, whereas, the larger states insisted on having representation based on population.

The argument of the latter was found reasonable and the representation was given based on population, yet, the number of members to the Senate from every state was limited to two.

The government actually collects taxes to pay for the goods and services it provides including schools, roads, the police, libraries, parks and military protection… if any of these count as a government program, then I believe D is correct, as the person before me said.

From 1915-1934 the United States military occupied the country of Haiti based on the foreign policy of Roosevelt Corollary to the Monroe Doctrine. The Roosevelt Corollary was actually an addition to the already formed Monroe Doctrine. This Corollary stated that in case of any conflicts between the European countries and the Latin American countries, the United states would enforce the legitimate claims of the European countries rather than the European countries themselves getting involved. Roosevelt did not want the European powers take hold of any Latin American countries as this would bring the enemy directly to the doorsteps of America.
