The German "u-boat" aka the Submarine was highly effective due to having the element of underwater travel. This way, they could sneakily send missiles at other naval ships without risk of detection. These days, submarines are an essential part of naval force, and underwater detection systems are being created in order to detect these more often.

What are some reasons a texas cowboy might want to re-up for another cattle drive next year?
anastassius [24]
Aside from the pay, the reason Texas cowboys re-upped for a cattle drive was for the adventure. Although the drive might be boring at times, with weeks and sometimes months on the trail with nothing to see but dust and flat lands, natural and man-made challenges occurred occasionally. One of the most frightening challenges encountered in a drive was crossing a river. A swift river could carry a man, a horse or a cow. A slow moving river might camouflage  quicksand and deep holes both of which were dangerous also.

A blank is a person, especially the member of a group, who takes law into his own hands
disa [49]

Answer:

Vigilante.

Explanation:

Vigilante is a form of the word vigilant, which means "keeping a watchful or close eye on events and people." Sometimes a vigilante will make news for catching a criminal, and sometimes vigilante groups form to target crimes in a bad neighborhood. A common combined use is "vigilante justice," which refers to a form of law-keeping outside of the official channels of police and the courts.

Hope this helped! :)
