The Presidential system in the US does not have all the power but exercises major executive powers.

Explanation:

The Presidential system in the nation has been so that the President of the nation has enough power to be able to challenge the senate and often the house on their own in the time of the emergency.

However, they are kept in check by the two houses as they serves as the voice of the common people

The president is thus both kept in check and allowed to access supreme power when there is a need in times of crisis.

Thus the system works both ways.
