In the Declaration of Independence, President Thomas Jefferson makes uses of <em>parallelism</em>, as he tries to make a correspondence between the fact that "All men are created equal" with the "unalienable rights" which are endowed by their Creator, such as Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

There are no rights listed in the preamble. There is, however, a list of objectives, which is what you probably meant. Here is the preamble:

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
