Answer: I THINK THAT he really just wanted money and did not care for the people. he often taxed the people which made them very poor. he brought france to bankrups by spending tax money on parties, jewelery, and his famous versailles palace. so he cost france money.

They also believed that whenever any government became tyrannical and despotic, the common people had all rights to alter or abolish the existing government through protests can depose the government and help in bringing out a new government.
