1. What are the values of Madame Loisel and Madame Forestier? Explain.

English
1 answer:
Shkiper50 [21]4 years ago
4 0

Answer:

Madame Loisel is a woman who is not content with what she has. She is more concerned about appearance and lusting for things that are above her means. She knows her limitations but refuses to stay in it, rather preferring to go the extra mile for that which she thought could be hers.

Madame Forestier seeks the affluent life like Loisel, but she knows her limit and stays within it. She is a woman who cuts her coat to her size by making imitations of real jewellery she wanted but knew she could not get.

For years, people wondered what became of Little Albert, but not until 2009 did
Romashka [77]

Answer: There was no drop in the author's confidence when the film of his novel: which involved two years of writing, was badly received by cinema audiences. The spokesperson for the studio defended the film's release. It was an ambitious project. We're very proud of it.

Explanation: In the first sentence, commas should be placed to separate the non -restrictive subordinating clause from the rest of the sentence. Non -restrictive clauses are not essential to the meaning of the sentence. In the first sentence, there is a possessive apostrophe missing (author´s confidence).  You're welcome!

Lines 10-21: why is the number of young children" in the present deplorable state of the kingdom a very great additional grievan
S_A_V [24]

Answer:

It shows that the state in which poor children live is a social complaint, which exists, even if many do not recognize it.

Explanation:

Swift criticizes Irish society in general, in addition to criticizing the deplorable state of dependence that the country lived. However, he reinforces that in addition to all the social problems that Ireland presents, the condition of poor children is an additional complaint, as these children live in a deplorable way, within a kingdom that is already deplorable. In this case, he claims that the cause of these children is a social agenda, often ignored, but that it is present in society and is visible to everyone.
