Religious beliefs and practices, geography around Nile River and the creation of the Rosetta Stone, contributed significantly to the Egyptian security and stability. The only statement that did not contribute the the Egyptian's security and stability is the regular flooding of the Nile River.

The answer would be letter D.

All of it except letter D. regular flooding of the Nile River. The nile river at that era is one source of life in Eqypt because the water gives the plants life and also gives them fish to eat, but the flood that was cause of a strong rain destroys the rice fields and also their houses that also need to repair again.

Why did the Catholic Church respond negatively to Copernicus and Galileo’s discoveries?
sesenic [268]

Answer:

Because back then, the Catholic Church stated that the Earth had to be the center of the solar system because God is perfect, therefore made Earth perfect, causing it to be the center of everything. This was wrong. Galileo and Copernicus had shared that the Sun was actually the center, not the Earth. This contradicted with what the church said, therefore what "God" said. The church called them out for blasphemy and they had to deny their ideas.

Which civil war battle was fought from the 15th to the 16th of december 1864?
Andreyy89

Answer:

The Battle of Nashville.

Explanation:

The Confederate forces, commanded by John Bell Hood, had already suffered heavy casualties against General John Scofield, at Franklin, Tennessee. When Scofield moved north to Nashville to reunite with General George Thomas, Hood followed him, despite being greatly outnumbered, and placed his troops outside Nashville's strong defenses.

Thomas saw the opportunity to strike the decisive blow and took it. The confederate army suffered a terrible defeat, and the few survivors had to retreat to Mississippi.

Hood signed his resignation shortly after that.
