Improved transportation affect farming in a positive manner as it helps to connect distant farmland to urban areas.

Further Explanation:

Improved transportation is very important for farmland. It is directly related to farming .A better transportation will increase productivity of the farmlands. A better transportation not only will help farmers to transport their crops but also help them to receive equipment’s that are needed for farming to improve the productivity of their lands. They need manures, fertilizers, pesticides and many other latest technologies to improve their productivity and in case of worse transportation facilities they will be unable to avail these commodities necessary for their farmland

Transportation facilities include buses, trains, motor vehicle etc. which will not only transport crops from farmland to urban area but also import latest technologies to farmer which will be considerably beneficial in increasing the productivity of the farmland. In another way it will uplift the economic condition of the farmer.

Answer:

Explanation:

It made the factories more accessible to get freight railed across vast distances reliable and to schedule.

A manufacturer could say they could get something to you door to door almost in 7 days and you could rely on that instead of 10-14 days by horse and cart or longer.

There are probably several reasons for Government regulations but one of the most obvious one was the Rail Gauge (distance between tracks). It enabled all of the rail companies build and use their own locomotives and rolling stock and use the same tracks rather than having to lay their own lines, or have bogie changing stations

Upon reading NY Times Article: "Democracy in America: How Is It Doing?" and watching the clip (clean, classroom edit) below from
san4es73 [151]

I do not think so.

In my opinion, the foreign policy of the current US government has diminished the country's relative importance to the world. The United States has always been considered the country of freedom and the American dream. However, the sense of freedom has diminished before the preaching of nationalism. Anyway, I believe it is possible that the US will once again be the best country in the world. Governments and their policies are transient, we have a solid democracy and our culture is still hegemonic.
