I don’t know the context of this but: we must choose ourselves because if we are trying to be someone else our whole life then we won’t get very far and people won’t like us for ourselves.

When you explain your reasons to the audience and you try to build interestt in them you are trying to motivate them. You are giving them knowledge in order to raise awareness and in the next step of this: desire. An audience analysis would be something much more exhaustive. When it comes to persuasive messages, this is not the case because that would be a more agressive approach. Also, this is not an example of eliminating concerns about nothing. And regarding psychographics of the audience, this is not the case.
