Answer:

8 unit SC at lunch and 12 units SC qhs

Explanation:

The body needs insulin for the metabolism of glucose. The insulin is an hormone that is secreted by the islets of Langerhans in the pancreas. The insulin enables the cell's gates to open so that the glucose in the blood can enter the cells.  This enables the cells to retain the blood glucose levels in the blood and also helps the body to maintain the required optimum amount of glucose in the body - about 90 mg glucose/ 100 ml of blood. For artificial insulin dosage, the amount of insulin that is needed is 8 unit SC at lunch and 12 units SC qhs. This is ideal for a health patient.

Actually I didn't try the SAT Yet but how does the question comes
ycow [4]
I just took the pre-SAT. I thought it was going to be harder than it actually was.  When I took it, it took 3 hours. The first part was reading passages and answer questions about it. That was 1 hour. The next part is on grammar. You look at sentences and figure out if they used the right set of words or punctuation. That was 45 min. The 3rd and 4th part was on math. On the third part there was like 12 multiple choice questions and like 4 problems you had to work out. The fourth part had like 21 multiple questions. and 4 problems you had to work out.
