In the United States fuel efficiency of cars is measured in Miles Per Gallon units or simply MPG, MPG means how many miles a car
RoseWind [281]

Answer

Car used 2.31 liters of fuel to travel 100 km

Explanation:

We have given distance s = 100 km

We know that 1 mile = 1.609 km

So 100 km = \frac{100}{1.609}=62.15mile

Fuel efficiency of car means mileage of car = 26.9 MPG ( mile per gallon )

We have to find the how many liters of fuel used in going 100 km

So amount of fuel used =\frac{total\ distance}{mile\ per\ gallon}\\

= \frac{62.15}{26.9}=2.31liters

So car used 2.31 liters of fuel to travel 100 km
