Can you please help me finish this I need 4-5 more sentences ty I’ll mark Brainly
Viefleur [7K]

Answer: "It's essential to remember that, much like ourselves, refugees are only trying to survive in this often harsh and cruel world. It's illogical to refuse entry to a group of people with the thought process of 'they're going to replace us'. If you disagree, then perhaps you should put yourselves in their shoes. Or, it may even be necessary to think back to a time when you yourself were in need of assistance or battled discrimination. As long as we're able to remain open-minded about Europe's refugees and understand the valid reasons for their crossing over, then none of us should have a problem with it."

Read the excerpt from ""the lottery."" what information from the excerpt is ironic?
iragen [17]

Answer:

The children arrived first for the lottery.

Explanation:

An irony is a literary device and figure of speech in which words give a direct opposite meaning from the intended meaning.

From the excerpt, we see that the main theme was referring to "school". Therefore, children couldn't be first for the lottery, which is ironic.

Select your favorite work from the Romantic period in literary history. Summarize that story or poem, and identify its Romantic
Anon25 [30]

Romantic period gave rise to some of the incredible works from some of the most renowned writers and poets. For me, it's 'I Wandererd Lonely as a Cloud' by William Wordsworth

Explanation:

Romanticism was an art and literary movement which took place at the end of 18th century. Poems of some most renowned poets written durning the romantic period are still quite famous. One of my favorite and the most famous romantic poem is 'I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud' written by the most famous William Wordsworth.

In this poem, the poet brings to its readers a beautiful description of flowers while he was wandering lonely. The poem revolves around the major theme of the 'beauty of nature' and its power to change a person's sadness into happiness. The poet who was lonely, no more feels lonely mainly because he discovers the dancing and fluttering daffodils which brighten up his mood.
