The type of plants that you can expect to see growing first after the flood are small annual plants.

Explanation:

There are two types of ecological succession, primary and secondary ecological succession. These two successions are created by different factors. A success that is produced by the flood is a secondary succession. A secondary succession refers to a type of succession in which an earlier built ecosystem is demoted to a smaller population of species. For this type of succession, the soil is already present and the seeds, roots and vegetative parts of some of the damaged plants may survive. Thus, secondary succession is normally quicker than primary succession, which average start out on bare lands or rocks. The pioneer species for small succession are annual plants, followed by shrubs and then pine and oaks. The pioneer specie for the primary sequence is lichen, which has the strength to grow where there is no soil.

Assume that the left ventricle of a child's heart has an EDV=90mL, and ESV=60mL, and a cardiac output of 2,400 mL/min. His SV is
Sliva [168]

Answer:

SV = 30 ml/ beat.

HR = 80.

Explanation:

The formula to calculate SV is as follows:

SV = EDV- ESV.

Here EDV = 90ml (end diastolic volume), ESV = 60ml (end systolic volume) ans SV is stroke volume.

SV = 90-60

SV = 30ml/beat.

The formula to calculate HR is as follows:

HR = CO/SV

Here, HR is heart rate, CO is cardiac output = 2,400 ml/min and SV is stroke volume = 30ml/beat

HR = 2,400/30

HR = 80.

Thus, the SV is 30ml/best and HR is 80.
