The CO₂ concentration decreases due to large scale weathering process of silicate and carbonate weathering . The weathering of silicate and carbonates affect this way . As CO₂ in the atmosphere decreases the global temperature decreases , resulting in global cooling or ice age. During ice age we will have less precipitation .
