two ropes, ad and bd, are tied to a peg on the ground at point d. the other ends of the rope are tied to points, a and b, on a f

lagpole. angle adc measure 45 degrees and angle bdc measures 30 degrees. IF the distance between point d and the flagpole is 5*the square root of 3 what is the distance between points a and b on the flagpole?

I guess C is the point where the flagpole touches the ground. If so:

ADC is a an isosceles right triangle. (ACD = 90, ADC = 45, then DAC=45).
So DC = AC = 5√3. Now let's consider the right triangle BCD:
ADC = 30, tan 30 = BC/DC:
tan 30 = BC/5√3, or tan30 = √3/3 → √3/3 = BC/5√3 and
BC =5. But AB = AC - BC
AB = 5√3 - 5
AB =5(√3 - 1) or AB = 3.66

In a laboratory experiment a student obtained the following values for the mass density of a metal sample: 5.13 g/cc, 4.98 g/cc,
VMariaS [17]

Answer:

5.104%

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

The accepted value for the mass density = 4.80 g/cc

Observed values:

5.13 g/cc

4.98 g/cc

5.06 g/cc

5.01 g/cc

Total number of observed values = 4

Mean of the observed values = ( 5.13 + 4.98 + 5.06 + 5.01 ) / 4 = 5.045 g/cc

Now,

The percentage error is calculated as:

\textup{Percent Error}=\frac{\left |\textup{Accepted value-Mean value} \right |}{\left |\textup{Accpeted value} \right |}\times100%

on substituting the values, we get

\textup{Percent Error}=\frac{\left |4.80-5.045\right |}{4.80}\times100%

or

Percentage error = 5.104%

Write the inverse of f(x)=x2+4
Over [174]
F(x) = x² + 4
y = x² + 4

First, I reverse the equation to be
x² + 4 = y

Second, we need only x to remain on the left side and we need to move the others to the right side
x² + 4 = y
x² = y - 4
x = √(y - 4)

Last, change into invers function
f⁻¹(x) = √(x - 4)
