What does it mean to be a leader? How does one show she/he is a “good leader”?

Being a leader means being a good role model. People will look up to you and you. It also means standing up for what u believe and don't ever back down. Being a leader is an act by how a person encourages others to accomplish an objective and directs the organization in a way that makes it more reasonable and cohesive.
