Yes. It is most likely a proportional relationship.

Divide $55 by 6(hr)

He gets $9.16 an hour, $18.32 for 2 hours, and so on...

Just multiply 9.16 by how many hours you want

Answer:

6 times 55 is what this is asking...

if you are mowing for 6 hours and you are paid 55 dollars .. you multiply because if you were doubling it... and you mowed for 12 hours yous get double 55 which is also just multiplied.

An object is traveling at a steady speed of 10 1/5 mi/h. How long will it take the object to travel 1 4/5?
professor190 [17]

The object needs 10.58 minutes to travel 1 4/5 if the object is traveling at a steady speed of 10 1/5 mi/h.

What is the distance?

Distance is a numerical representation of the distance between two items or locations. Distance refers to a physical length or an approximation based on other physics or common usage considerations.

It is given that:

An object is traveling at a steady speed of 10 1/5 mi/h.

u = 10 1/5 min/h

u = 51/5 min/h

As we know, the speed-distance relationship:

time = distance/speed

distance = 1 4/5 = 9/5

time = (9/5)/(51/5)

time = 9/51 hours

time = (9/51)60

time = 10.58 minutes

Thus, the object needs 10.58 minutes to travel 1 4/5 if the object is traveling at a steady speed of 10 1/5 mi/h.
