She proved to the world that she had major balls and created a trend which resulted in a prominent leader, Martin Luther King Jr, to start organized events to attempt to stop racism from occurring in the future. All in all, Rosa Parks was a major contribution due to her not giving up her seat to a white man. It really sparked a major change in the US.
