Answer:

The Assyrians were warlike people who seized lands throughout Mesopotamia.

Explanation:

The Assyrians were a Mesopotamian people that lived between the rivers Tygris and Euphrates in the Antiquity. They founded the city of Assur around the year 2600 BCE, which became a relevant cultural and political center of that region. In the late 24th century BCE, Assur was conquered by Sargon of Akkad and the Assyrians were integrated into the new Akkadian Empire. The Assyrians were a warlike people that for many centuries fought and conquered many of their neighbors, like the Babylonians, Chaldeans, and Persians. Around the 6th century BCE, the Assyrian Empire was defeated and conquered by the Median Empire and its capital, Nineveh, was  destroyed as a revenge for all the atrocities that (according to the Persians) were committed by the Assyrians.

In the later years of the zhou dynasty, what condition in china led to new philosophies?
Anna71 [15]

Answer:

Explanation:

The second half of the Zhou dynasty was the first time when China's history started to be recorded. People began to ponder over past events and form their own ideas about everything. This was also the first time when people waged violent wars against each other in China and wondered what could be done to avoid being killed. The afterthought of past events and outlook on future life forced people to think hard. Hence it was no wonder philosophers appeared.
