A real world promblem that uses ratios and raes that can be graphed on a corrdinate plane is a promblem that could possibly happen or has happened such has bank rupsie it doesnt all of a sudden happen it slowly decreases until you have no money left to pay your bills or have a home and that can be graphed if you are given the equation or numbers on how it happened

The resulting function will have a function f(x) = √x-3 -1

<h3>Translation of coordinates</h3>

Translations is a transformation technique that changes the position of an object from one point on the plane to another.

Given the function below

y = √x

If the translated technique below is applied  (x,y) -> (x-3,y +1), the resulting function is given as:

y+1  = √x-3

Subtract 1 from both sides

y + 1 - 1 = √x-3 - 1

y = √x-3 -1

Hence the resulting function will have a function f(x) = √x-3 -1

Rachel has taken 6 tests so far and has received scores of 83%, 92%, 79%, 88%, 89%, and 95%. What must Rachel receive on her sev
Vinil7 [7]
Let the score on her seventh test be "x".

SO,

\frac{83+92+79+88+89+95+x}{7} =90\\\\ \frac{526+x}{7}=90\\\\ 526+x=630\\\\x=630-526\\\\ \boxed{x=104}

∴ He must get 104% on his seventh test to get an average score of 90%

A recent survey asked UF students if they had a job or not, and if they were underclassmen (Freshmen and Sophomores) or uppercla
vlada-n [284]
Following the table and knowing that the total number of students interviewed were 158 ( we can see this by looking adding either the total number of upperclassment or adding the total number of people with jobs or no jobs, this value is at the bottom right of the table in the figure attached).
Recall that:
P(A\cup B)=P(A)+P(B)-P(A\cap B)
In the figure provided each of these terms is highlighted in a different color. To convert these values to their matching probabilities we have to divide each by the total number of students, this is due to the fact that the probability is the number of favorable cases (in this case a group matching the qualities we seek) divided by the total amount of cases ( that is the total number of people interviewed). In the figure the answer is provided. For the intersection of the two events we're looking for people that is both an undercalssman and also has a job.
