Answer:Canada has vast forests that cover almost half of the country’s land. Having large amounts of timber resources has allowed Canada to become a world leader in the forestry industry. A big component of the country’s manufacturing industry is processing timber. Mills process logs, creating lumber and wood pulp, which is used to make paper. A major issue caused by the forestry industry is deforestation, or the clear-cutting of trees. This has resulted from the large-scale demand for Canada’s timber.

Why does the United States see North Korea as a threat to our national security? How is the government trying to resolve the sit
uysha [10]
As far as a threat, North Korea has been seen as such for many years (since WWII), when North Korea sided with Russia. America and its Capitalism were not fond of the Communist party, and so we have really been fighting/being concerned about Russian influence.

Historically North and South Korea have been in conflict many years before America and Russia got involved. When we did though it got worse.

Trump has done very little to resolve this, some would say he is making it worse.

Flowing-water ecosystems, especially headwater streams, receive most of their energy from: A. light. B. water. C. wind. D. organ
zvonat [6]

Answer:

Option (D)

Explanation:

Organic detritus usually refers to those materials that are the remains of dead organisms such as plants and animals.

The flowing water ecosystem such as the head-water streams obtains most of the materials from the nearby terrestrial and aquatic places due to the surface runoff. It is highly rich in the amount of organic detritus, as the materials such as leaves, branches, roots, soil particles, and other organic waste products are transported from the land areas, thereby obtains its energy from them.

Thus, the correct answer is option (D).
