The two ways in which individuals should approach conflict to ensure win-win situations are accommodating and competing.

Further explanation:

There are various approaches to manage conflict, which are as follows:

1. Competing- It is uncooperative and assertive. When an individual pursues his concerns at the other individual’s expense. This approach is a ‘power-oriented approach’ in which an individual uses whatever power seems appropriate in a win-win situation to win his/her position.

2. Accommodating- It is cooperative and unassertive. It is the opposite of competing. In this, an individual neglects his/her ‘own concerns’ to ‘satisfy the concerns’ of other individuals. It sometimes takes the form of selfless charity or generosity, complying with another individual’s instructions when an individual prefer not to, or when he yields to other people’s point of view.

3. Collaborating- It is both cooperative and assertive. When an individual works with others to find

a solution to a problem that fully satisfies his and others’ concerns. It can take the form of ‘exploring a disagreement’ to learn other people’s insights.

4. Compromising- It is moderate in both cooperation and assertiveness. When an individual seeks a mutually acceptable and expedient solution which satisfies both parties and compromising falls midway between accommodating and competing.

5. Avoiding- It is uncooperative and unassertive. In this, an individual neither pursues his own concerns nor of the other people. It can take the ‘form of diplomatically’ sidestepping a problem or an issue.

What was the effect of climate change and economic depression on the Ming Dynasty?
ololo11 [35]

Answer:

Based on the reconstructed temperatures, precipitation changes, and occurrences of extreme climate events, together with historical records on fiscal deterioration, food crises, and the frequencies of popular unrest, rebellions and wars, we identified three principal ways in which climate change contributed to the collapse in the Ming dynasty. Firstly, cooling, aridification, and desertification during a cold period destroyed the military farm system, which was the main supply system for the provisioning of government troops on the northern frontiers; these impacts increased the military expenditure from 64 % of total government expenditure in 1548–1569 to 76 % in 1570–1589 and thus aggravated the national fiscal crisis that occurred during the late Ming dynasty. Secondly, climate deterioration (e.g., cooling, aridification, and an increase in the frequencies of frost- and drought-related disasters, etc.) led to a 20–50 % reduction in the per capita production of raw grain in most areas of China, which resulted in widespread food crises and exacerbated the vulnerability of social structures during the last several decades of the Ming dynasty

After adding the sulfuric acid and letting that reaction proceed to completion, what chemical species were left in the beaker?.
creativ13 [48]

Copper sulfate and water will be the chemical species that were left in the beaker.

The inorganic material known as copper sulfate is created when sulfur and copper are mixed. It has the power to destroy roots, plants, algae, fungi, and snails. The level of hazard in copper sulfate depends on the amount of copper. In the US, the use of copper sulfate in pesticide products has been permitted since 1956.

Sulfuric acid, also known as sulphuric acid or oil of vitriol in the past, is a mineral acid made up of the elements hydrogen, oxygen, and sulfur with the chemical formula H₂SO₄. It is a viscous liquid that is miscible with water. It has no color or smell.
