Answer:

The diagram violates the second law of thermodynamics because it shows thermal energy flowing from a cold object to a hot object. The second law of thermodynamics states that thermal energy flows from a hot object to a cold object.

The second law of thermodynamics says that as more chemical reactions occur,more heat energy is released in to the atmosphere. Apparently, heat energy is useless and more energy is transformed into heat energy, more entropy becomes prevalent. So as energy is being consumed and passed up the food chain, chemical reactions to digest the food occurs and , as a result, entropy increases.
Hope it helps!!

Two true-breeding stocks of pea plants are crossed. one parent has red, axial flowers and theother has white, terminal flowers;
xxTIMURxx [149]
This is a typical case of a dihybrid cross.
From the phenotype of the offspring, we can conclude that the gene for the red color of the flower and the gene for the axial position of the flower are dominant.
Since we know that the ratio of phenotypes in a dihybrid cross of independently inherited alleles is
9(dominant for both traits)
3(dominant for one trait, recessive for the other)
3(dominant for the second trait, recessive for the other)
1(recessive for both traits)
we can expect 3/16 of the f2 generation to be dominamt for one trait and recessive for the other (red, terminal flowers), or to be precise 190 individuals.

How are evolution and allele frequency connected?
Lostsunrise [7]

Answer:

An example of macroevolution is the evolution of a new species. One mechanism that drives evolution is natural selection, which is a process that increases the frequency of advantageous alleles in a population. Natural selection results in organisms that are more likely to survive and reproduce.
