Answer: World War I was a conflict that caused several changes in the world in the geopolitical order and led to the design of new countries frontiers and ways of governing, as well as the introduction of new technologies and important changes in the role of women.

Explanation:

One of the most important consequences left by the so called Great War was the fall of the four European empires: Austro-Hungarian, German, Ottoman and Russian. This global conflict changed the way war was waged, the old offensive strategies that were based on the personal courage of a large number of soldiers were not effective in the face of new technological advances.Women gained the right to vote during hostilities or soon after in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, in the German Republic and in the new Soviet republics, and in new states such as Austria, Hungary and Czechoslovakia.

The First World War was a cataclysm that disrupted countless lives. As a modern, total war, it brought men and women into active battle zones across Europe as well as in parts of Africa and Asia. New technology further extended the borders of the war. Air power made it possible to launch attacks against civilian populations at some distance from traditional frontlines, and U-boats sank passenger ships, such as the Lusitania in 1915, that were loaded with men, women, and children crossing the Atlantic. In addition, albeit with less novelty, invading armies ended up occupying swathes of territory. Civilian women and men in Belgium, the north and east of France, Serbia, and parts of the Russian empire among other locales came under the control of occupying powers. - See more at: https://www.bl.uk/world-war-one/articles/changing-lives-gender-expectations#sthash.LK0kryB4.dpuf

What three tribes were descendants of the Anasazi and the where did they live?<br>
vladimir2022 [97]

Main Answer:The airy settlement that we explored had been built by the Anasazi, a civilization that arose as early as 1500 B.C. Their descendants are today's Pueblo Indians, such as the Hopi and the Zuni, who live in 20 communities along the Rio Grande, in New Mexico, and in northern Arizona.

Side Answers:

Which tribes of today are the descendants of the Anasazi?

The descendants of the Anasazi are still around today, though. The Pueblo and the Hopi are two Indian tribes that are thought to be descendants of the Anasazi. The term Pueblo refers to a group of Native Americans who descended from cliff-dwelling people long ago.

Who were the Anasazi and where did they live?

The Anasazi lived in the four-corners region of North America. They had three major centralized populations in three different places: Chaco Canyon (New Mexico), Mesa Verde (Colorado), and Kayenta (Arizona). They were in this region from c. 490 AD to the 1300s AD.

Where was the Anasazi tribe located?

The heart of the Anasazi region lay across the southern Colorado Plateau and the upper Rio Grande drainage. It spanned northeastern Arizona, northwestern New Mexico, southeastern Utah and southwestern Colorado—a land of forested mountain ranges, stream-dissected mesas, arid grasslands and occasional river bottoms.

Why was French rule liked or disliked by the overseas colonies?
mezya [45]

Answer:

The British were ultimately more successful than the Dutch and French in colonizing North America because of sheer numbers. ... The rulers back in Europe actually made it very difficult for French and Dutch settlers to obtain and manage land. They tended to be stuck on the old European model of feudal land management.
