How are audience views set up in a theater and on film?

Explanation:

In a theatre the audience is called the fourth layer of it. Usually they are seated in all four sides of the theater. The views are set up such that audience can watch all the needful characters of the play and this is done via the combination of staging and blocking. Here the director defines the positions of each on stage, which characters should the camera focus and which not to focus (blocking)
