Answer:

According to a recent personal conflict a should applied a more dialogue approach, a more dialectal approach, in which each part hear other and try to understand their point of view. This could be a better behaviour in that situation.

Instead, we didn't talk much about it, we just stop talking and stay away from the other, which is not a conflict resolution at all.
