The crowd left as a result of the way Scout conversed with Mr. Cunningham. Individuals in crowds tend to act kind of insane on the grounds that they don't feel like they are people. Every individual kind of overlooks he's a person with a soul and loses himself in the group mindset. At the point when Scout converses with Mr. Cunningham, she kind of breaks the spell.
The importance of Mayella's wounds is that they were presumably dispensed by a left-gave individual. Her father is left-given and that kind of infers that perhaps he's the person who hurt her.
